On September 11, 2009 a new series of concerts in the capital city of Bogota will start. There will be gigs for everybody’s taste.

THE WAILERS – September 11

The Wailers, Bob Marley´s former band, will be playing at Metropol Theater. This concert is part of their EXODUS tour which commemorates the 30th anniversary of the album which has the same name. This Jamaican group formed in Kingston, Jamaica.
The Wailers have been successful not only because of their great Reggae hits but also because of Bob Marley’s talent and legacy.


BABASÓNICOS, AUSTIN TV Y ÁRBOL DE OJOS EN CONCIERTO - September 11, 2009

Metro Theater will be the place for the concert of Babasónicos (Argentina), Austin TV (México) and Árbol de Ojos (Colombia).
Babasónicos is having their world tour ¨Mucho Tour¨, in which they will be performing their greatest hits in their 17 years of musical history. Austin TV has been in Bogotá once, in Rock at the Park 2008. Árbol de Ojos will be the local band. Their style is influenced by punk and Brit rock.


PLANET FUNK EN CONCIERTO – September 25

The Italian band Planet Funk will perform at Metropol Theater. This concert will mark their first time in Bogota. During the concert, they will be presenting their fourth album: Planet Funk Best Of, which first single is Lemonade.

DEPECHE MODE AT SIMÓN BOLÍVAR – October 10
Depeche Mode fans will have the chance to witness their concert on October 10, 2009. David Gahan, Martin Gore y Andrew Fletcher have sold more than 75 millions of CDs around the worldAt present time they are promoting their 12th album named Sounds of the Universe which corresponds to the tours name: ¨Tour of the Universe.

ENRIQUE BUNBURY – October 16
Hellville Tour de Enrique Bunbury will be in Bogotá on October 16 Ocesa, Rebuena Onda y T310 worked together to make this dream come true. The place where the concert will be held is uncertain, however the tickets are being sold.

EN CONCIERTO CALLE 13 Y BOMBA ESTÉREO - 30 de octubre
Calle 13 will be in Bogota on October 30. This PuertoRican group recently atended the Festival de Verano 2009. The support band with Calle 13 will be the band from Bogota Bomba Estéreo, which make a fusion of traditional rhythms with hip hop. At present time, Bomba Stereo is promoting their second album Estalla.

THE KILLERS EN CONCIERTO – November 15
The Killers will be singing for the first time in Colombia at Parque Jaime Duque ON November 15, 2009. This rock band is at present time one of the best in the world. One of their best albums is Hot Fuss (2004), and recently Day & Age (2008). Colombians love songs like Mr. Brightside, Somebody Told Me, Read my mind, When you were Young, among others.
